Introducing Dr. Thomas J. Campbell
“We’re in the business of keeping people healthy by maximizing their natural potential. Before chiropractic care became mainstream, once you hit about 55, people thought physical activity was a thing of the past due to physical limitations. With chiropractic care, nutrition, stretching and proper exercise, women and men over 60 are cycling 100 miles, running, playing sports. At 90, you can have a great spine and great joints and still be active!”

Dr. Campbell is originally from Scotland. He grew up in Australia where he attended Adelaide University medical school. In Australia chiropractic education has been fully integrated into the mainstream University system. This allows for emphasis to be placed on a deeper science based, evidence based education than that found in most chiropractic colleges in the United States. American chiropractic schools typically teach about the spine only. Australian chiropractic schools grew out of the osteopathic school, thus they receive supplemental education on all body joints.
In addition to Dr. Campbell’s education in Australia, he is also one of only two Gonstead trained chiropractors in the D.C. and Virginia metro area.
Dr. Campbell owned and operated two successful chiropractic practices in Sydney, Australia prior to moving to the United States in 2001.
When Dr. Campbell injured his shoulder during Judo training in 2007, he was unable to find a chiropractor that knew how to properly adjust him for full recovery. So, he trained another chiropractor in order to heal himself! Finally, rest-assured, Dr. Campbell will always refer you to a medical doctor if there is a need for medical assessment beyond the scope of expert chiropractic care.
